The Edible Peace Patch Project is a 501(c)(3) not for profit organization whose mission is to eliminate poverty as a factor in educational success and diet-related health issues by cultivating healthy minds and bodies. To accomplish this mission we provide education through hands-on learning, in our organic garden beds. These sustainable gardens are built through community co-creation and utilization of local resources!

Greens N Things is an Urban Farm operation in the City of St. Pete. We convert unused space into productive farmlettes to grow seasonal vegetables for our members, restaurants and markets.

MakeSoil is an online platform that matches ‘Soil Makers’ (people who compost) with nearby ‘Soil Supporters’ (people who contribute scraps). The platform also gives local citizens and municipalities all the tools they need to rapidly create their own decentralized network of citizen-run neighborhood composting hubs in their community - keeping organic waste out of the landfill, bringing down greenhouse gas emissions, saving taxpayers' money and, of course, making soil!

The Pinellas Beekeepers Association has a training day that meets at the SPC apiary on the Saturday following the Thursday night meeting. Members along with non members have the opportunity to learn about bees and go through a hive.

Our Lawn & Garden department provides solutions for your garden, lawn, and landscape. With research based information from the University of Florida our horticulturists offer sound expert advice to help you. Wild Roots opened in June of 2017 with a mission to help the folks of Saint Petersburg, FL, add more green to their lives. Our concept was to provide a serene, welcoming environment where customers could browse for plants and learn how to successfully incorporate them into their homes. We have since expanded our inventory to include a curated selection of locally made goods and branched out into sharing our space as a creative studio for workshops, photo shoots and special events.

Our Mission: to provide the most nutrient-dense produce to the neediest populations in our community; to educate people on organic farming while pursuing sustainable practices; to cultivate a community of engaged urban farmers.
