Has the responsibility to guide, stimulate and promote economic development in the state.

These centers provide training programs and one-on-one counseling on financial management, accounting, procurement, organization, record-keeping, marketing, international trade, financing and the steps to starting a small business. This program provides financing for the very early research and development phase of innovation that meets the needs of participating federal agencies.

A national, non-profit organization with over 13,000 members which began in 1964. Comprised of a group of working and retired business executives who donate their time assisting people in the U.S. in starting-up new businesses or providing business mentoring for existing businesses.
