Why use library resources?

Searching; Library resources offer several advantages over using "the wild west" of the internet. The magazines, journals, books, videos, images and more are preselected through the databases for college student research. Scholarly and peer-reviewed resources are available. Searches can be controlled and refined to find the information needed for assignments. Citation suggestions are provided in most databases, though a student must verify the accuracy through the official MLA, APA or CSE style guides.

Assistance: Librarians and tutors may be contacted for help with research, writing and tutoring in many subjects.
