Knitting

Knitting is one of the most common fiber crafts and can be very easy to pick up! The craft typically requires 2 knitting needles, but can call for more if you are using Double Pointed Needles (DPNs) to create a circle, such as when making a hat or a sock. Some of the tools that you may need are:

  • Knitting needles
    • Straight, Circular, or Double Pointed
  • Yarn
    • Always make sure to check your label for fiber content, washing instructions, and recommended needle size
  • Stitch markers
  • Darning needle
    • This is used to weave in ends when finishing a project
  • Small scissors
