Not sure what to write about for your Problem/Solution paper and don't know where to start? Try brainstorming using Google News! By researching current events in Florida, it can help give you some ideas for a great topic.
If you are researching an issue that is local, you may not be finding information on our SPC Online Library. You can first try a Catalog Search through our library.
Another option is to try Google News and a refined Google search.
In Google, you can add the following to your search. site:gov (government websites) or site.fl.us (State of FL websites). You can also search by site:edu to locate websites run by colleges and universities.
Google Scholar works with our library's databases! Here's how to do it:
1. Access Google Scholar
2. This link should automatically link your browser with the SPC library databases.
A Find @ SPC link will now appear next to articles in your search results. Click on it to see if we have the article in our collection.
